This pantomime was outstanding with all the required elements that panto requires. The opening production number by the wonderful dancers

and sunbeams of ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’ was simply amazing so topical with the new Mary Poppins film just on release. Katy Morgan gave us a most charming portrayal as Cinderella acting and singing with a lovely easy style. Vanessa Stead (Prince Charming) and Victoria Johnson (Dandini) both gave impeccable performances they worked and played off each other with superb timing, acting, singing and dancing with great confidence. Michael Tattersall as Buttons worked his socks off to keep the production on the boil and the audience involved as did the Ugly Sisters (David Hall as Britney and Mark Rogers as Kylie) I have never seen Val Green in panto before she can now add this performance as Baroness Stoneybroke to her extensive list of credits. John Hewitt always plays the role of Squire or Barron and is just perfect for the part most suitably downtrodden. Sylvia Taylor was a most elegant and stylish Fairy Godmother displaying a lovely singing voice and very fine diction with her acting. The music was very tuneful and well chosen and organised the sets and sound were brilliant and did much to enhance the fine production.
