Cinderella

An excellent panto on a relatively small stage, with all the established components, thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. Terrific Ugly Sisters stole the show with excellent comic understanding and teamwork from two most experienced performers. Buttons also stood out - and not only for a moving solo in the second half - but all the performers bought into the panto style and sang and danced with skill and verve. Bright and colourful costumes, simple but effective staging, a good choice of songs and plenty of laughs made this a memorable evening. Great support from the chorus who tap-danced and sang as individuals and as a team. Lovely touches like the lizard and mouse footman added interesting detail.

The whole cast and crew worked together to make this a most entertaining production. This versatile group can add panto to their many successes with both straight plays and musicals.
