Cinderella

It is always a pleasure to visit this society, they have been performing Pantomimes in this area for more years than I can remember, and they are always a joy to watch.

The costumes and set (Hinkley Pantomime Company, with additional costumes by Ace) were outstanding, and set you in the mood from the beginning.

The Principles, Cinderella ( Lee-Rose Walsh) and Prince Charming ( Lisa Davis) were well cast as a couple and their previous experience in Pantomime showed.

I have seen Buttons (Ryan Salter) in many productions with both this society and others and I think that he has found his niche in comedy and this performance was no exception, with typically bad jokes well told.

The “Ugly Sisters” Trinny ( Nathan Taylor) and Susannah( Josh Green) were perfectly outrageous with great costumes and make up and a good rapport.

All the named characters gave good performances but personally I would have like the Step-mother to be a little more wicked.

However this was in my view a “Proper Panto” in all senses of the word, and I enjoyed every minute.
