This Christmas concert involved not just the society’s adult members but youngsters from their S.P.O.T.S. Children’s Theatre Group and very enjoyable it was too!
The evening consisted of more than 30 Christmas songs and carols, the latter inviting audience participation, with words provided. There were some lovely performances of seasonal songs old and new and particular mention should be made of The Donkey’s Christmas Song by the four children and Grown Up Christmas List sung by Jodie Hughes.
The show was simply set with straw bales and a few props and, in a way, a relaxed Christmas started here for many of us.
