Chitty Chitty bang Bang Jr

With huge support from their elders who made the two realistic Chittys and supplied the wonderful projected backings among other things, Rickmansworth Players Youth and Junior Theatre put on a very impressive production. I saw strong performances from the Family and the Vulgarians, confident ensemble work and very skilled dancing especially in the Ol' Bamboo number (with a well-deserved encore) while the backing tracks accompanied superb singing from soloists and chorus. Alternate casts of lead Principals and others became ensemble and featured dancers in the performances when they were not starring with never an indication of confusion.
