Gail Young's tale about a group of ladies training for and entering into the London Charity "Moonwalk" was performed some eighteen months later than originally planned. The camaraderie that such a charity event of endurance inspires was very well presented by these five talented actresses. They brilliantly portrayed their various personalities with their diverse histories all in very credible and sustained Cheshire accents - making us roar with lafter one minute and shedding tears the next. The set was minimal with a number of pink chairs representing the seating areas in many locations with two large cutout back-lit cats either side of the stage. Joining the five walkers was one of the girls' 'toy-boy' and a small number of ensemble of characters - attendants along the charity walk all adding to the fun. As with 'Calendar Girls" this play has inspired a large number of charitable donations - PHTC's production raised in excess of £500.
