CATS

The iconic musical Cats an honour to perform and the second longest running musical in Broadway history. It is such a famous musical worldwide, with the most amazing music written by Andrew Lloyd Webber
Toppers approach is always professional and this was again a challenge.
Many children involved of all ages, some very small and yet they all came out ‘purrfectly’ and  triumphed!
Nothing like seeing a stage full of cats and kittens performing and the opening number was sensational with all the cast energised for the Jellicle Songs For Jellicle Cats
This is a show with many interesting scenes and infectious music, Director Rachel made sure there was magical atmosphere incorporated in every brilliantly choreographed scene, thanks go to Emma and Tammy. It would be very difficult to mention all the super cast, however Rum Tum Tugger, Cariad Williams was excellent, Mungojerrie Jamie Lee Morris, and Rumple Teaser, Millie Price in perfect unison were stars. I liked Grizabella played by Alysha Paulson and she sang the well known Memories beautifully. Old Deuteronomy was played well by Sadie Jones very good moves indicating age. Brianna Teague as Mr Mistoffelees was a showstopper and Macavity from an outstanding Oliver Morris took the stage by storm
Excellent set designed by Graham Wilkins, costumes by show committee and Jane Evans were stunning and of course lighting by creative master Mike Williams
Witnessing over thirty Toppers youngsters as cats giving the performances of their lives was out if this world!
