The first of this year’s delicately arranged nudity found Argosy with a very strong team representing the six ladies who had allowed their stories to be dramatised, with the main pair catching exactly the heartbreak of losing one’s husband to cancer and the comedy and hurt of the best friend’s sometimes misguided schemes, the dying man equally realistic and moving (cleverly set early on to disguise the actor’s wheelchair) and real joy in the superb ensemble playing of the photography scene.
