This play was written by the French playwrite Marc Camoletti and was very popular in the 1960`s running for 5 years in the West End. A fast moving farce requiring great concentration, quick pick up of cues, entering and exiting of many doors and great comic timing.  This cast of 6 had all these accomplishments and gave us a very entertaining and comedy treat. The set, designed by Sarah Logan and built by Keith Darnbrough and his team, was excellent and dressed with very good taste.  Good lighting added to the atmosphere of a home of a wealthy bachelor.  Bernard (Andy Dobson who had taken over the part at short notice and gave a good comic performance) played the part of the bachelor with 3 Air Stewardesses all engaged to him without them knowing of each others existance. Bertha the maid (Doreen Seaman) was the all knowing accomplice and provided some very funny 1 liners with great timing and aplomb.  Robert (Howard Clements) was the friend who hadn`t the slightest idea of what was going on but wished he was in the same boat gave a good performance of a dithering nincompoop.  The 3 Air Hostessess (Caroline Marston, American Airline,  Vivienne Bednall, French Airline and Jacky Campbell, German Airline) all in appropriate outfits gave good well rounded performances. The whole, with a great finale of chaos, was enjoyed not only by the audience but obviously by all the cast.
