The audience was mesmerised throughout - you could have heard a pin drop. Everyone involved did this powerful play full justice. The simple set worked very well - book wallpaper on various levels was all that was required. Good use of auditorium exits and entrances for some of the cast. Faultless period costumes, hair and make up added to the sense of time. All this was accompanied by an excellent programme with a lot of well researched and relevant information.
