Bedroom Farce

Southside continue to develop through experimenting with different types of production and in doing so balance the creative challenge with the need to entertain a very loyal and supportive audience.  Recreating their first show was a good way to mark their 30th anniversary and the audience loved it.

Delivered as a period piece it was very much a reflection of the time it was set and many of the ideas and attitudes would not really ring true today.

The pre-show announcements dealing with the need to turn off mobile phones was again done in the style of the show making it part of the entertainment as well as dealing with a necessary evil.
