Bedroom Farce

Alan Ayckbourn's 1975 play set in three bedrooms is still popular with amateurs despite the need to build one of them in the auditorium (triumphantly achieved here) and other complications. The frequent scene shifts between the rooms were seamlessly managed with spot-on lighting and sound, and the mature audience clearly remembered life as it was back then, laughing without reserve as the experienced cast put over the well-written lines and developed the convolutions of the disastrous events of a night.
