This interpretation of Beauty and the Beast showcased the dancing and acting and singing abilities of the company and once again the high standard was maintained.

Opening the production Hannah Williams, as the Enchantress, got the show off to a good start, giving a polished, confident performance with excellent diction and projection.

Beast played by Michael Bennett was a triumph of singing and acting. His beast  costume was one of the best I have seen, excellent vocals, strong stage presence.

Belle played by Kelly Virgill gave a really strong performance  and produced a slightly different interpretation of this well known character, which was more cheeky and fun loving  than usual,

Papa played by Rhys Deans gave a strong performance, good diction. His portrayal as the very fatherly Papa had a good rapport with Belle.

Madam Bon Bon played by Jonathan Coombs was the ideal Dame with wonderful outfits and wigs, making the most of the comedy and helping to push the pace of the production.

Villain played by Joshua Taylor made the most of this part as the baddie and who received some well deserved boos! Good performance, good diction.

Sidekick played by Angelique Duff  looked as if she enjoyed every minute of playing this character, good comic timing, strong performance. Good diction.

Candlestick played by Nick Preen was ideal as this character, good accent, good diction, strong performance.

Clock played by Tony Caley-Burnell excelled as this character. Strong performance, good diction. Performance of the evening

Teapot played by Jo Higgins portrayed this character to the ‘T’. Good stage presence.

Cup played by Maddie Allen was suitable for the role.

Feather duster played by Leona Hobbs portrayed this character with ease, good accent, good diction, good stage presence.

Wardrobe played by Lisa Perry was ideal in the role, good portrayal, good diction. Good performance.

Excellent set design, supplied by Lightsource and Owen Money Productions – lighting by Lightsource and colourful costumes all added to another feather in the cap of this zealous group

This production was jam packed with entertainment, enough to please the most stalwart of pantomime lovers.

Congratulations Billboard
