Beauty and the Beast, a very successful musical and film and now also a pantomime a great choice for something different and this Colstars fun filled traditional pantomime is eagerly awaited every year the anticipation with light sticks waving  ready in this  packed vast theatre is an amazing sight!

Good King Rupert, James Dyer and Wicked King Damon, Damon Miles both well played are rivals for the hand of the Princess the lovely Sarah Knight with her golden voice as Beauty and who will win?

A delightful Rose Fairy from Lauren Muxworthy with perfect diction we could hear every word and knew she would be on the side of good over evil. Talking of evil we had a super one with Julie Griffiths playing Evil Rancidea

Colstars Dame, Derek Williams as Dame Lucy Lastic dressed in some amazing costumes and in fine voice brought us hilarious comedy and plenty of fun with the children Some great laughs with Tom Evans as Willie

The star in this story is the Beast and we had a superb performance from Ieuan Benney his transition was very good

Some fabulous scenes in this pantomime and the Rose Ballet was outstanding

Tie it all together with upbeat numbers and a lively chorus in fine voice and it spells success. Excellent costumes by ACE and scenery from Scenery Hire Technically spot on. Congratulations to Director Derek Williams MD Michael Jones and Choreographer Julie Griffiths and all the team.
