It is perhaps a programme understatement to warn that “this production contains strong language and adult content” – but the Bob Hope Theatre audience seemed fully prepared for this extremely slick and professional presentation of what has become something of a cult classic. Characterisation and voices were right, the puppetry was polished, group numbers slick. There was not a weak link in the company.
