Arms and the man

This witty and slickly-paced production was a very enjoyable evening all round. We were very impressed by the comic timing and expressiveness of the cast, and of the very cleverly designed and dynamic set which created a richly detailed and absorbing world for the characters to inhabit. We were so impressed by the nimble and clever transformations between scenes and the attention to detail in set dressing. This attention to detail was also reflected in the costumes – an interesting and diverse selection of outfits that suited the characters well. The period-appropriate facial hair (on the men) appeared to be home-grown… if this is the case, bravo gentlemen for your commitment to the cause!
