Annie

What a talented group of youngsters this society has. The story and music of Annie is very well known and this society certainly did it justice, the show was bright and lively throughout.

These youngsters are the future of the theatre and they have  obviously been encouraged as all the children on stage gave everything to the performance and it was lovely to see such enthusiasm from everyone from principles to chorus.

A  mention for both acting and singing must be made for Annie (Poppy Smith), Miss Hannigan  (Livvy Mines), Oliver Warbucks ( Thomas Bassett), Grace ( Ffion Bassett), Lily (Taryn Meryick), and Rooster (Zackery Stone). These are children to look for in the future. The Awww factor must go to Sandy the dog (Lucy Gunter) in fur fabric on a very warm evening and Molly (Ayda Rawle-Jones) “oh my goodness, oh my goodness” what a lovely performance.

It was a joy to attend this lovely production. Thank you for your kind invitation.
