Agatha Twisty and the Murder in Pantoland
Shinfield Players Theatre, SPT
Although some might regard this as a dated piece, its dramatic and musical style having shades of the 1950s, its simplicity ensured a charm and accessibility to a younger audience. A fairytale darkened wood provided an effective backdrop for a cast of seven, who leant into a style which involved some pantomime audience participation. Everything ended happily for children as well as the eponymous Annabelle Broom and an audience kept entertained by this charming musical.
