This was a very enjoyable evening’s entertainment with three excellent One Act Plays.  “Alternative Accommodation” direct by Jo Legg”  “A Dogs Life” directed by Jane Adams and “Last Tango in little Grimley” directed by Pat Donovan.

All three plays were well cast and there were excellent performances from all cast members. In each play the pace of delivery was very good, the comedy was well timed, which brought lots of laughter from the, very enthusiastic, but surprisingly small audience.

In my opinion “A Dogs Life” a story about four dogs in an animal shelter awaiting their fate, out shone the other two plays. Whilst it was very funny in places, it was also thought provoking and proved to be very emotional at the end. The outstanding performance of the night came from Tilly Churhill as the noisy innocent young pup, call Ginger, and I am sure June Garlands superb performance, as the elderly dog Beth, brought a tear to many eyes

The sets were all kept simple but there were all very effective

A very enjoyable evening.
