Fans of the beloved television series last broadcast in 1992 (apart from repeats and a 2007 special) would have been very satisfied with this 2023 incarnation. Characters remained true to the original and there were some excellent individual performances. Pace would have been enhanced by use of permanent mini sets rather than rely on blackouts, travellers and furniture removal but individual scenes were skilfully blocked and set pieces choreographed
