Evil Idol
Crowthorne Musical Players, Morgan Centre
This was my first visit to this society in my capacity as their NODA rep and have to report that I was very well looked after.
This pantomime had been written by a member of the society, John Hicks. It had a good plot with a well written script and some great characters. The only thing stopping this being a traditional pantomime was the lack of a principal boy. There were excruciatingly bad jokes, audience participation, goodies, baddies and of course a dame.
It had been well cast with some fine performances from the cast and chorus alike.
