Fun and laughter all the way except for Abanazar (Dom Moccia) who was very wicked but was eventually made a slave. Aladdin and the Princess (Zoe Clarkson/ Hayley Diamond) made a lovely leading pair and the magic was in the hands of the Genie of the Lamp and the Slave of the Ring (Peter Turner/Chloe Brynes), both wonderfully colourful dancers. Policemen Won Long Tong and Who Flung Dung (Louisa Lefreve/Nick Turrner) were part of the excellent comedy team of Widow Twankey, Wishee Washee and Emperor Hi Pooh (Chris Broadbent/Neil Broadbent/Paul Bennett) who, with the rest of the cast, sported some fabulous costumes. Splendid singing and dancing from the chorus and dancers and striking scenery and lighting too. But everyone fell in love with a very cute and knowing Panda who nearly stole the show.
