ALADDIN

Crigglestone Community Theatre Company were delighted to be back in production after the pandemic shut down and gave a very spirited production of Aladdin. The casting was headed by two youngsters Tilly Hamlett as Aladdin and Libby Phillips as Princess Jasmine they both gave confident performances. Nick Harvey-Wade was a very aggresive Widow Twankee just a little O.T.T.. I did enjoy Holly Grego as Wishee Washee she has a most attractive stage presence. Tim Guest was a most suitable Abanazar. Without question the star of the production was Robert Gordon as Pookie the giant panda this was a star performance without saying a word! He stole the show with wonderful graphic movements. All the other cast members gave very significant contributions. The choreography was suitably organised for the many dance routines. The bright coloured set was well constructed and the clever transformation to the Palace scene was very well executed.  I am very pleased to see you back in production.
