Aladdin

Argosy's family-friendly home-written pantomime scored particularly with Aladdin and Jasmine played by experienced teenagers, who could sing the modern songs brilliantly, dance with style and verve, handle the dialogue and hold the audience, an impressive Abanazar (with spectacular lighting and sound effects), a glorious Chinese Lion and an MD whose orchestral  keyboard accompaniment inspired both solo singers and the well-choreographed ensemble numbers, though inexperience did show through in some other areas. Colourful costumes and scenery, slickly changed by the Crew.
