WOADS produced one of Derek Webb’s Agatha Crusty whodunnits this time at the Village Hall where many of the cast were murdered. It was a very funny script with lots of classic characters that could be found in a Miss Marple murder mystery. The talented cast entertained with a funny spoof set in rural England that was easily recognisable. There was the little old lady sleuth, the not so bright detective, the women that runs the village committees, the working cleaner, the farmer, the local policeman, the pub landlady and all the other expectants.

The story finishes with a less than obvious dénouement, ably evidenced by Agatha. This is a fun play that audiences will enjoy and good parts for a range of ages and abilities.
