With the title alone ensuring the Friday performance by one of London's few village societies playing in its own village hall was sold out, HADS couldn't go wrong. The audience recognised and laughed immoderately at the incompetent policeman, the characters and the goings-on in the village where Agatha Crusty was a visitor on a break from her crime writing, the six unlikely deaths (only two seen and one more heard on stage) and her trade-mark summary before the murderer was revealed. Well put over and with excellent technical support.
