Absurd Person Singular

RDS's cast, which included the Director in a pivotal role, made much of the comedy of this Ayckbourn play written and set in the 1970s, though the provision of three different class kitchens, one for each Act, rather stretched their design and build team, and I thought the darker element of the writing held together less well than when I saw it at the Criterion Theatre in 1973.
