A Slice of Saturday Night

A strong group of eight performers was marshalled to portray a range of characters each with identifiable flaws and understandable personality traits. Action flowed swiftly and it was clear this was an extremely well-rehearsed company. With over thirty musical numbers to be presented, each a pastiche of 60s style and an almost sung through show, any weak links become all too evident. Fortunately, there were no huge weaknesses exposed in this particular production, with some welcome new faces also involved.
