A Musical Christmas

A MUSICAL CHRISTMAS  was performed by a company of 75 mixed age entertainers from Limelight Basingstoke, Lisa Jane School of Dance and Theatre4Kids. It was a show full of Christmas spirit, toe-tapping songs, imaginative dances and with solos as well as group numbers, this show gave everyone a chance to shine. 

The costumes were first class with some very Christmassy jumpers, beautiful and elegant white for the ballet dancers as well as black tutus with tinsel waist decorations.  There were beautiful dresses, smart suits and Christmas theme outfits for the special guests and everyone looked perfect for their particular numbers.

This was an ambitious venture to produce with such a large cast and wide age range, but the creative team and cast rose to the challenge with aplomb.  This was a great show with a lot of strong individual performances as well as a huge sense of teamwork, friendship and camaraderie.  There were well polished routines performed with confidence and passion.  The beauty of the show was that there was something to suit everyone.  This was an evening when the audience went home captivated and enriched by the incredible talent in the local community.
