Agatha Christie’s mystery, adapted by Leslie Darbon, comes round regularly in District 8, but not frequently enough for me to remember the complications which have to be unravelled by Miss Marple and a cooperative Police Inspector. The two deaths on stage were well presented as was the attempt on Miss Marple’s life, and the clues well hidden from us in the copious dialogue, but I couldn’t quite believe the convoluted actions (or the reasoning behind them) involved in the shooting incident. I wonder if I did in previous reviews of the play.
