A play with musical interludes written and directed by Don Jagger, set on board a Cruise ship on the high seas, setting off from Barcelona and visiting several other countries on an eight day voyage.
Another happy, fun evening with Brighouse Theatre Productions, led by the ships cruise entertainment team, Archie, Pippa, Becky and Costa, they all gave good portrayals of their characters. The Police Inspectors, played by Richard Walsh (one with a different accent in each country) revelled in his role of this somewhat incompetent Police Inspector.
The passengers and visiting Acts provided excellent and varied entertainment, comedy oozed from Seth and Norman, (Robert Davison and Sean Brennan) and the lady guests in the cast played their roles to perfection.
In the second Act the visiting Belly Dancers 'Hareer' certainly made quite an impression on both cast and the audience. The singing and movement alike added to the enjoyment of the evening.
All this and a Pea and Pie supper too! what more could you ask for.
A most enjoyable evening, definitely an excellent choice of production for this type of venue, it was wonderful to see it filled to capacity. Looking forward to next year, keep up the good work. My congratulations to all involved, these things don't just happen it takes a lot of hard work. Well done.
