Elstree Productions produced a very slick and well-rehearsed show with good use of the ensemble in set and prop changes keeping the show moving along nicely. I particularly found pleasing how all the ensemble were working hard, acting in the background whilst the action was going on in front with the principals. It was very regrettable at this opening night performance that the sound let the show down quite considerably, considering the energy and enthusiasm the cast and company gave in their performances. Always difficult when Technical teams only get a few hours to rig, focus and sound check. Costumes well resourced. Music was strong with good diction. Some very nice principal work.
