London Councillor invites you to the NODA London Festival Weekend
NODA London Festival Weekend
3rd and 4th June 2017
Dear NODA Member
I am very pleased to invite you to the NODA London Festival Weekend at The Radlett Centre, Aldenham Road, Radlett, Herts, WD7 8HL….just a few minutes off the M25
The weekend starts with our Performance Showcase on Saturday to which everyone is invited to support the groups taking part. I am sending, with this letter, the breakdown of timings over the weekend.
Both days will include workshops (for which there are still spaces available) and on the Sunday there will be the presentation of NODA London Awards by the National President, Michael Hastilow. There is a downloadable list of all the awards winners and nominations here.
Please book your ticket through www.ticketsource.co.uk/noda-london or by telephone to the box office on 07717 671765. [18th May update: the Sunday afternoon is now sold out but there are spaces available on workshops for both days and to watch the Saturday Showcase]
There is a fee of £1.50 per transaction and the delegate fee for the day will be £5.00 - which includes a full colour brochure listing all the award nominations. It will also have written reports from the Councillor and the President.
Both the bar and café will be open at lunchtime and there will be a choice of food which you should pre-order on arrival to save queuing at lunchtime. There are also various eateries and coffee shops in the immediate vicinity. Overflow parking is across the main road in the Budgen’s car park, opposite the theatre.
Workshops
We are widening our net with regard to workshops this year and you can book for one of the workshops at the same time as you book your tickets at a cost of £10 each.
Saturday Workshops:

Singing Masterclass (Max 6 students): with Peter Allanson

More details of the workshops can be found here and will be updated over time.
Conference brochure: advertising opportunity
Within the conference brochure your group can purchase 1/8 page (£25 = VAT) or a ¼ page (£40 + VAT), ½ page (£75 + VAT) or full page-A4 (125 + VAT) to advertise your next production.
Bear in mind that over 300 people could see this brochure! The spaces will be on a first-come, first-served basis so please contact Rosemary Roberts on roberts.noda@btconnect.com for further details. (Adverts should be with Rosemary by May 7 at the latest.)
Regional representatives
On the website there is a list of reps standing for re-election. We are in need of a rep in District 3 (SW London). Please contact me if you are interested in working with the London team and becoming a regional rep, or perhaps we can chat on the day.
Nomination forms for Regional Councillor and Regional Representatives, are to be used if you wish to see a change in the present team. These can be downloaded by clicking on the relevant links above.
Please do come and join us on June 3 and 4 – we look forward to meeting you again when we celebrate all that is good in amateur theatre within the NODA London region.
Kindest regards.
