NODA North West District 3 & 12 Awards and Dinner 2018

Last night almost 300 lovers of community theatre gathered for the ‘NODA North West District 3 & 12 Awards and Dinner 2018’ held at the Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa, Blackburn.

The event celebrated the talent of East Lancashire and formally acknowledged the fact that both of the Districts have now remerged. They will be known as just District 3 once again.

People from many societies attended with awards being received for a wide variety of both production and performance categories. The top prizes on the night, the ‘BBC Radio Lancashire Award for Best Overall Performance’ was awarded to Rose Hurley for her role in Mack and Mabel for Clitheroe Parish Church AODS and ‘The Oswaldtwistle Civic Arts Center Award For Best Overall Production’ was awarded to ReAct Academy of Performing Arts for their production of West Side Story.

Good Luck to everyone from the East Lancashire area for the NODA North West Regional Conference & Awards in May. We are looking forward to see many of you there.
