NODA NE Gala weekend cabaret NEEDS YOU

As many of you are aware the NODA NE Gala weekend takes place in April of every year at the Bridlington Spa. This year we are celebrating “50 years at Brid” and we are looking for 20-30 people (over 18’s only) to perform in the Friday evening cabaret (in The Royal Hall) from all over the North East Region of NODA. 

1.   Auditions will be held as per the attached application form and will take place in workshop format. Auditions will be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis.

2.   A workshop will take place on 14th January 2018 at the Bradford Playhouse in Bradford.

3.   Further rehearsal days will take place as follows - 

Rehearsal dates:

1 x January Initial Audition/Workshop Sunday 14th January 2018 10am -4pm

1 x February Saturday 3rd February 2018 10am – 4pm

2 x March Sunday 4th March 2018 & Sun 18th March 2018 10am-4pm

1 x April Sun 8th April 2018 10am – 4pm

Rehearsal material will be given to you to take away and learn and practice in between rehearsals.

4.   Dress Rehearsal – Thursday evening at the Bridlington Spa on 19th April on stage in Bridlington (8pm till 11pm)

You must be totally committed to all rehearsal dates & the performance date so we would suggest that if you have any other rehearsal /show commitments in January to April then you will have to make an appropriate decision at the time of the auditions.

The director will be Giles Atkinson, the choreographer will be Amy Atkinson, and the Musical Director will be Danny Gamble. The show is being produced by Giles Atkinson the NODA Weekend Co Ordinator and Sally Holmes.

This will be a wonderful experience for all involved.
