An ex-witch. A plague of rats and a gullible Pied Piper with a magical flute, all combine in this hilarious tale of greed and deception.

The Pied Piper is hired to rid the town of Hamelin of rats. But Gisela, an ex-witch who instigated the plague, ensures he doesn't get paid and puts the blame on Hamelin's Mayor Klaus Kringle. Gisela and her idiotic sidekicks Frank and Furter, tell the Piper they are fraud detectives and persuade him to kidnap Hamelin's children as part of their plan to expose the Mayor as a thief.

The Mayor and several townsfolk set off to rescue the children. Amongst them is Dame Stella Strudel, owner of a failing deli and her sons Otto and Hans, plus Mayor Kringle and his daughter Ingrid.
