Bursting with heart, humour and iconic style, this much-loved musical follows the endlessly optimistic Charity Hope Valentine as she navigates love, friendship and life’s ups and downs in the dazzling world of 1960s New York City. From the glitz of dance halls to the charm of hopeful dreams, Charity’s journey is uplifting, touching and irresistibly entertaining.
Expect spectacular Bob Fosse–inspired choreography, vibrant costumes and a score packed with legendary show-stopping numbers including Big Spender, If My Friends Could See Me Now, There’s Gotta Be Something Better Than This and I’m a Brass Band. With its blend of romance, comedy and dazzling dance, Sweet Charity promises toe-tapping tunes, big energy and a whole lot of sparkle.
