Inspired by Shakespeare's The Tempest and set to a soundtrack of classic rock ’n’ roll hits, Return to the Forbidden Planet is a fast-paced, high-energy sci-fi adventure packed with comedy, romance, and larger-than-life characters.

We begin aboard the Starship Albatross, where Captain Tempest and his crew invite you to join them on what should be a routine mission. But when a meteor storm throws them off course, they crash-land on the mysterious planet D’Illyria and encounter the eccentric Doctor Prospero, his daughter Miranda, and the ever-watchful robot Ariel.

As the crew attempt repairs, relationships begin to form — and fracture. Miranda finds herself drawn to Captain Tempest, while the ship’s cook, Cookie, falls hopelessly in love with her. Meanwhile, Prospero experiments with a powerful mind-enhancing formula known as the ‘X Factor’, with dangerous consequences.

When a terrifying monster attacks, secrets are revealed, loyalties are tested, and the true nature of D’Illyria begins to unravel. With reality itself in question, the crew must work together to escape before it’s too late.
