Buddy grows up at the North Pole believing he’s an elf, but when he learns he’s actually human and that his real father, Walter Hobbs, lives in New York, he sets out to find him. In the city, Buddy’s innocent enthusiasm clashes with everyday life, and Walter—stressed, cynical, and firmly on Santa’s naughty list—struggles to accept this unexpected son.

When Santa’s sleigh crashes due to a lack of belief, Buddy steps up. With help from his new family and the people of New York, he restores Christmas cheer. Walter finally realises the value of family and embraces Buddy wholeheartedly. Through love, acceptance, and festive magic, Buddy discovers where he truly belongs.
