Sister Act
Walmsley Church Parish Hall, Bolton
The classic comedy from the pen of Bill Naughton.
The story follows a young, newly-wed couple, Violet and Arthur Fitton, as they navigate the early parts of married life, while living in the Fitton family home. The play looks at working-class life in the 1960s, tackling themes of intimacy and family relations with a sense of humour and a lot of heart.
The play, originally presented at TLT in 1981 and once again in 1998, was brought to the 'silver screen' in 1966 as 'The Family Way' starring Hayley Mills & Hywel Bennett, and was actually filmed locally in and around Naughton's 'home town' of Bolton.
All tickets are £8.00* each and will be available on-line from, 8:00am on Saturday 19th April 2025
