We are an amateur dramatics club based in the coastal town of Wick in the far north of Scotland.

Nestled in the heart of Caithness, our proudly owned premises which is affectionately known as the clubrooms, serves as a fully equipped drama centre with Moray Street being the beating heart of all our productions. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of our members, the complex has undergone extensive refurbishment in recent years, transforming it into a vibrant hub for drama in the north. With over 100 enthusiastic members, including both active participants and loyal patrons, we have built a reputation for delivering performances of exceptional quality. As a drama club, we practice strong, true community drama which is the art of storytelling brought to life by local people, for local people. It’s a shared creative endeavour where actors on stage are supported by a network of passionate individuals behind the scenes- designers, technicians, costumiers, make-up artists, stage managers, and many more. Each production is a tapestry woven from the talents and efforts of volunteers who contribute their time, skills, and imagination. Whether it’s crafting a set that transports the audience to another world, designing lighting that enhances mood and emotion, or applying makeup that completes a character’s transformation, every department is essential to the activity of amateur drama.

We thrive on collaboration, inclusivity, and the joy of creating something meaningful together. It’s not just about performance, it’s about connection, growth, and celebrating the spirit of the community through theatre.
