Washington Theatre Group

WASHINGTON THEATRE GROUP is a not-for-profit amateur dramatics group for adults based in Washington in the North East of England. All members are over 18. The group has been running since 1976 and has staged numerous shows over the years, in the form of an annual pantomime as well as drama and comedy productions. The WTG isn't just about performing on stage, it's all about working as a team and having a chance to try new things. We all pitch in and do our best to put on a great show, not just for ourselves but for the audience, the community and sometimes for charity.

We meet at the Arts Centre Washington every Tuesday at 7.30pm till 9.30pm. Anyone who wants to join can just turn up on a Tuesday night. There is £5 per month subscription, which is spent on workshops, equipment, and social activities for the group. Your first month is free.
