Welcome to the University of Manchester Musical Theatre Society, also known as UMMTS! Here at UMMTS we are dedicated to telling stories from all walks of life that represent as diverse a community that Manchester is home to. We are an amateur theatre society fully run by students, accepting members from any universities in the city, including placement students from other universities around the country.
Since our founding in 2011, UMMTS has grown to be an open, friendly and NODA award winning society. We are passionate about all aspects of musical theatre and aim to provide a platform for aspiring creatives to put on professional level productions with the help of other fellow creative societies and theatre groups. We offer opportunities to get involved both on and off stage, giving people experience as casts, creative teams, backstage hands, and pit bands!
UMMTS are part of District 1 of the NODA NW region.
