Stage Squad

Stage Squads' first rehearsal was on on 1st Feb 2005 and it was set up as an adult social group for staff, family and friends of Greater Manchester Police employees.

We performed exclusively to GMP staff at their Sports & Social Club; The Hough End Centre in Chorlton for several years before the Squadron Leader (Sean Kennedy) branched out and took the group into the big bad world. We now perform at our own purpose built venue 'The Squad House' within Pear Mill in Stockport.

Stage Squad Youth started on the same date in 2017 and the membership is per production. The Youth group has grown steadily since then and now boasts a cast of 20+ for every show!

Our adult membership consists of professional adults aged between 18 and 60.

Our youth membership is per production and the age range is 7 to 17.

Most of our members are very talented and quick to laugh at themselves - there isn't a drama queen in sight!

Our adult season runs for 2 years and includes: 1 x family panto - 1 x adult panto - 1 x adult cabaret - 1 x revue

Our youth season also runs across 2 years and includes 1 x family panto - 3 x musicals and summer school workshops.

We also try to do 4 or 5 events per year such as Manchester Day Parade
