SOUP Productions

Soup Productions is a north-west based, non-for-profit community theatre group. We specialise in creating and producing original theatre, film, radio and across all media forms. The group was founded by Michael Pirks in 2017 with the intention to encourage upcoming talent and allowing members to create their own works. 

Soup Productions created a variety of shows in its initial run in 2017-2019 with shows such as 'Grimmsvalley', 'Murder at Cadberry Manor', 'All About Halton', 'Movie Night' and 'The Dawn of Dracula'. Soup returned from an extended absence in 2023 - following the impact of the pandemic- to create a new selection of shows and projects. The shows produced so far have been 'Little Red' (2023) and 'Smiler' (2024), the latter achieving a 5-star review from North West End. https://northwestend.com/smiler-pyramid-arts-centre/

Soup is a self-dependent group that has achieved various fundraising and community events since returning. 

Our upcoming season sees a selection of orginally-written, adapted and already established productions.
