Providing excellent education since 1611, Hulme Grammar School is an independent school which nurtures aspiring minds and boosts our young people's confidence and creativity. The school offers a vibrant, inclusive education that nurtures young people as individuals, empowering them to realise their potential. The school has been delivering youth musical theatre for 30 years and prior to that, offered operettas and oratorios for decades. This year we offer Legally Blonde which enables over 70 students in our small school to take on performer and backstage roles.
Hulme has always recognised the importance of the arts and theatre and alumni has gone on to great success including Sarah Lancashire CBE, Dr Shobna Gulati MBE and Frazer Hadfield.
Hulme Grammar School is the only school in Greater Manchester who is partnered with the Palace Theatre and Opera House Manchester through ATG Creative Learning, part of the LCEP and Oldham Performing Arts Collective, supported by Oldham Coliseum and Oldham Theatre Workshop.
