In 1987, members of the Parent Teachers Associated at Haslingfield Primary School put on Dick Whittington. This was followed by Peter Pan a year later, and then in 1989, the new Haslingfield Little Theatre produced its first production, A Midsummer Night's Dream. Our members span all generations and include a thriving 'Young Little Theatre' (aged 8-11), who perform their own play in August each year, a lively youth membership (aged 13-17) and out adult members who have a wealth of experience and skills between them.
We generally have two major shows per year; a family show/pantomime in November and a play in May.
In 2000, we became a registered charity, whose objectives are to promote advancement, improvement and education in regard to all aspects of the performing arts and the development of all such arts within the village of Haslingfield, Cambridgeshire and its surrounding areas.
