Driffield Musical Theatre

Driffield Musical Theatre is a group of performers, most of whom live in the locality, who are committed to the staging of musical theatre productions and concerts. Our aim is to provide high quality entertainment for the enjoyment of the local community and to provide the opportunity for local people to benefit from the experience of performing on stage.  We also encourage people to join and help us with back stage and other important jobs to enable us to achieve this aim.

Formed in 1978 and re-named as Driffield Musical Theatre in more recent times our shows normally take place in the Spring, then a Summer concert and a pantomime in November/December each year. These provide an opportunity for all members of the society to perform solo numbers and small group pieces. We also take our show on the road for some one night stands as and when requested. We rehearse our shows on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Driffield Methodist School Rooms, Westgate,  Driffield. New members are very welcome.
