The longest-established amateur operatic society in the whole of the Black Country, we celebrated our Centenary in 2008. The only Cradley Heath based operatic society, our aims are to bring musical theatre to the Dudley Area, promote the acting, singing and dancing talent of the area and also to raise money for local deserving causes. Our 2007 Production of Summer Holiday raised £5,000.00 alone. And in 2016 we were able to make a much-needed donation of household goods to Fisher House, part of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
We have a history of presenting Shows with a professional approach which was reflected in our Production of Fiddler on the Roof being awarded the inaugural Best Production Award in the Black Country Region by the National Operatic and Dramatic Association.
November 2013 saw, Me and My Girl, one of CHAOS's favourite Shows. So much so that CHAOS received FOUR awards from the Birmingham and District Theatre Guild which was followed closely by Best Production in the Black Country Region by the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (West Midlands). What a brilliant way to honour what was a very enjoyable production. We were rightly proud of everyone's achievements. 2016's Carousel also won NODA's Regional Best Production Award.
2017's Show was "9 to 5 - the Musical" at our new venue of Stourbridge Town Hall which went on to win Best Chorus prize from BDTG.
