- We perform three times a year - twice in the unique family theatre at Chatsworth (March and October) and once on an outdoor tour of Derbyshire in July.
We rehearse in Over Haddon Village Hall, near Bakewell.
We were formed in 2007 by local professional actor/director Sylvia Jackson. She had advised the Duke of Devonshire on bringing the old family Theatre back into use and then formed the Chatsworth Players precisely to perform in such a captivating space.
We have performed classic plays in the Theatre every year since.
We welcome anyone with a passion for theatre to join us.
Our members age from 16-86 and come from a 20 mile radius of Bakewell.
Our NODA reviews are always excellent!
